Born and raised in Paris, Capucine Milliot studied art history and archaeology at the Sorbonne. After graduating In 1999, she began her career at Christie’s auction house in Paris, rapidly taking on the role of Director of Communications and Public Relations. In 2011, she was transferred to New York to oversee Global Communications for the Post-War and Contemporary Art department. After nearly 17 years at Christie’s, she decided to join New York-based PR firm Nadine Johnson & Associates, where she served as Senior Vice President and Head of the Art and Culture Division.
In 2016, she founded Capucine Art & Culture, a highly selective boutique PR agency focused on providing strategic media relations, brand counsel and event planning tailored specifically to the art world. Her esteemed clients include international art galleries, private museums and foundations, interior designers and artists.
